Alright...so me and Jeff have really been talking about wanting to take advantage of the housing market and get in a house. So our plan...so we can get our debts a little lower and just bring in some extra bucks we talked and decided I would try and find a night job or something. So we heard that being a server you can get some pretty good tips. So I went into Famous Dave's and got the job. I have been training for the past three days and start taking tables all by myself next week. I am actually really liking it. It is fun to go and do something that is just mine. I am also excited that I am contributing to our 'pay off debts, get into a house' cause.
So yeah...I am having a fun time taking on something I have never done before and I am learning a lot. I have always wondered what it would be like to be a server/waitress. It is something both me and Jeff have said we would like to experience one day. I am a little scared about being on my own but I think that is when I can figure out exactly what I want to do and how I want to do it with out being someone's shadow all day. So if your feeling like good BBQ and you want to drop in...make sure you tip me well, hint hint, or you could just say hi too. I am excited to take this on and hope that I can really rock it and we can get what we want and kinda need.

WE LOVE FAMOUS DAVE'S! Anytime we are in that area around dinner time, we normally stop there. So, what nights do you work? We will come see you!
Some personal advice for earning AMAZING tips... make your customers happy!!! Even if it means getting them a free drink or something... they always make up for it in the tip and then some!!!
Let me know when you are ready to start house shopping! I have seen some killer deals, and now with the $6,000 grant from Utah for New Const. it's better than ever!
being a server can be soooo fun! you just bounce around from table to table talking to new people, and convincing them you're the best server ever to get a good tip! haha. good luck! i'm sure you'll do amazing!!!
