"He'll Carry you"

So I heard this song two Sundays ago. I was in the mother's room putting Kohen to sleep and the speaker was still on. The singles ward was about to start and a girl was practicing this song for what I can assume was for the sacrament musical number. It was such a beautiful song! So as soon as Kohen was out I walked to find out what this song was called. So here it is...I plan on going and buying the cd. If you want to listen to it before you buy I think you should be able to it or go to and search for it and there. It's by Hilary Weeks and called, "He'll Carry You" Some of you may be thinking...duh...old news...already heard it... but I just wanted to pass it on. So if you've heard it and liked it good for you...but if you haven't and are in need of a new church cd or just curious...well here is my recommendation.

He knows your heart
He knows your pain
He knows the strength it took just too simply breathe today
He sees the tears that you cry
He knows your soul is aching to know why
He hears your prayers each humble word
When you said you couldn't face another day he understood
He knows the path that you will find
Though you felt alone he’s never left your side
He knew there’d be moments when no earthly words
Could take away your sorrow
And no human eyes could see what you’re going through
When you’ve taken your last step and done all that you can do
He will lift your heavy load and carry you
He’ll bring you peace and leave you hope
And in the darkest night he’ll comfort you
Until you know the sun will rise and each new day
You will have the strength to live again
And when there are moments when no earthly words can take away your sorrow
And no human eyes could see what you’re going through
When you’ve taken your last step and done all that you can do
He will lift your heavy load and carry you
He hears you when you’re crying in the night
He hears you when your soul longs to find
Till the morning will come
And the light of the dawn reassures
That in the moments when no earthly words can take away your sorrow
And no human eyes could see what you’re going through
When you’ve taken your last step and done all that you can do
He will lift your heavy load and carry you

Who are you?

I'm a Esme! I found out through Which Twilight Female Are You? Take the quiz and find out!
Take the Quiz and Share Your Results!

You are thoughtful and care very deeply for your family. A loving home is of great
importance to you and you always try to make people feel welcome. Although you have a great capacity to love, you also have a great capacity to hurt, so at times you can be
sensitive. You're firm when you need to be, but people trust your judgment and
appreciate the kind way you always handle things.

Halloween Party!

Jeff and I were invited to a Halloween Party @ our friends Quinn and Meg.
My title: U.S. Marshall Juline King
Jeff insisted that I have the shotgun too!
Yeah that's right!....Watch out!

Jeff: Escaped convict, psycho ex-convict, crazy tattooed criminal!

I think I should probably be driving...but hey...I have a thing for bad boys so I let him drive. I was fully armed at all times...Just to be safe!
Happy Halloween!

Black Island Farms kicks butt!

Our fun day @ Black Island Farms!
It was a BOOtiful day...
and the hayride was a scream! =)

We went with our great friends Brooke and Hailee Gibson.

Adi's raising her hands....She found the pumpkin she wants!
She wanted to the pumpkin...but didn't want a picture taken.

Looks fun, huh!

Adi and Hailee...B.F.F's

Animal train

The duck races!

As you can see there was so much fun things to do!

This was only one of the 7 slides

Kohen was happy... as long as I was holding him. I'd put him down a few times but all he would do is stand there. I would walk away and try to get him to follow but he would just stand there and point and yell. He is such a crazy kid! I don't think he likes walking on grass for some reason. He won't walk on our grass at home either. Hmmm!

We all had so much fun!... I had so much fun that I want to go back with Jeff. Hopefully we will be able to do that and then I can even do a little bit more grown-up things they had there. I love the corn maze and we didn't get to it on that trip but maybe if we get to go back. We better enjoy outdoor fun while we can...winter is a comin'!
Mooo-arvelous! =)

cute hats and gloves!

So everyone should have seen my post with the snow, so when I saw these cute hats and gloves (kohen wouldn't wear his gloves and I could hardly keep his hat on)...anyway, I couldn't help myself because they were just so dang cute.

Adi loves her hat and worked out well that day because of the pigtail braids. So fashionable...Yeah that's right I am tooting my own there!I have a hard time these days keeping Kohen in one place. He is just so go go go!

His hat is crooked because he kept pulling it off and then I would put it back on....and off and then get it!

We had such a fun little time outside...I should find a hat for me too!

Bare Bum Bandit!

The other day I was getting Kohen's diaper changed and going to get him dressed when he got away from me I don't know why but it took me a minute to get to thing I heard was Adi..."Kohen no...your naked! Mama...Kohen, no...uh...mama!" Then Kohen said," AHHH!" He was not going to give back what he wanted naked or not he wanted that cozey car. Kohen may not be able to talk quite yet but he is letting us know exactly what he wants. He usually puts his hands out toward what he wants and if you don't get it quick enough he will grunt to get your attention. He has also just recently started shaking his head no...I love it ...I know I probably shouldn't but I think it is so cute. I am just so happy he is finding ways to communicate...even though this may be the start of the out everyone the Bare bum Bandit has struck...and I think this is only the beginning...AHHH!

He didn't see me coming...and then he was caught!

Adi was tagged!

Here are 5 things you may not know about Adilyn...

She has a very funny and large imagination. She makes phone calls to Mr. Walmart to ask for a new baby. She role plays with herself playing Dora and makes Kohen be Boots. She also is Ruby a lot and is always calling Kohen Max..."No Max!" She seems to say that a lot to him. She pretends to take her pills every night...just like her mama. Right now as I type this she says she is 'painting' everything she can find. She has got my little dust pan broom and is using that as her brush. It is something new with her everyday. I love it!

Just lately she has started getting really overly shy when there are new people around. Sometimes she will even go as far as to look away from everything and everyone and just act like she doesn't hear us. Even when we are talking directly to her. Sometimes when she is just plain embarrassed for something she did in front of me and Jeff she just tells us not to look at her. There usually some attitude there but we don't say anything. I think she is still figuring out this whole being embarrassed thing.

She loves singing and dancing. She loves playing rock band with us and has asked to play the guitar but we've told her she needs to get a little older before she can learn how. She sings really well though. It is funny when she hears Weezer, or Paramore on the radio and says that it is her song....then she sings and dances along like it really is one of her old jams! So funny! The dancing is my favorite of course because I would like to think that she got her moves from me. She has bounced, bobbed and wiggled to the beat since she was like 9 months old. She is getting more and more crazy with her dancing but I love watching her figure out whether she should shake her hips, jump up and down, tap her toes, or something other kind of dance she comes up with. She is always working on her moves and getting better at what she already knows.

She must always have ranch dipping sauce with her fries and chicken tenders, and if she doesn't have those she will even dip her fingers in and just lick it off. Ever since the first time I showed her how to dip she loves it...caution...she is a double dipper! Jeff is freak about fry sauce...maybe it's genetic.

At night when it is bed time Adi has a routine that consists of bath time, brushing teeth, going potty, saying prayers, hugs and kisses, 2-3 books, and then Daddy tells her one story. If you ask Adi what she wants her story to be about she says a story about herself, Kohen, and MILK!
I don't know why but she likes stories about milk. Maybe because most of the times we go to the store we have to buy milk. I have asked her a lot of times not to let me forget. That might have something to do with it...other than that I have no idea!

She has some funny things that just make me and Jeff laugh everyday but she also is the sweetest most loving kid I know. She always notices the little things and is so complimentary. She seems to always say,"Wow mommy you look hot!" or " The house getting so clean and sparkly!" just at the right time and she makes me smile when I'm not having the best of days. She's even nice to kids who are mean to her. She doesn't like it at the moment but a minute later she will be saying they're her best friends, and how much she loves them. She just tells me that they haven't been taught to share yet, and that she will teach them next time. It is funny but sometimes I think she is more of an example to me than I am to her.

She is the most large imaginationed, shy yet spunky, singing, dancing, rock star, ranch dipping, MILK loving, complimentary, tender hearted girl and we love her guts!!!

Snowing Sunday!

This is actually a week old post I started last Monday and never finished it! Oops!...Anyhoo! It snowed! We woke Adi up for church telling her that there was a surprise outside. She was so happy! We had made the mistake of telling her at the beginning of the week that it was going to snow that weekend. Adi woke up everyday almost crying because it hadn't snowed. So sad! I felt really bad that I had even told her but when we woke up on Sunday and she was so happy it was worth it. Her and Kohen were banging on the back door watching the snow fall. They wanted to go out but we wanted to wait until the snow stopped. Well it finally did and she had a blast making snow angels and building a few snowmen. Kohen didn't get to go out because we didn't have a snow suit for him. Still looking for one by the way...if you see some for 12 month old boys lets me know. It was a fun Snow day Sunday! It was cold but fun!
Few from our front door! Not going out any further than that...nope...too cold!
She is a snow angel pro!

Adi foot prints.....Daddies foot prints! They really had so much fun...too bad it was sunny the next day and it all melted and disappeared...we will probably have more snow before we know it!

Yes I am still here

Not that anyone might have cared. But I am still around. This blog has been taken over by my wife. I am fine with that. Just want all the readers in the middle east to know that I am still alive and well. I used to have a bit more free time but my job has strict no personal Internet rules.

When I get home I am ready to play with the kids and then sleep on my daughters bedroom floor.

Anyway I am still here...

Can you say "Proud Papa" !?

So we have always know that Kohen loves every remote control he can get his hands on, x-box controllers too, dvd's, and even loves laptops... pretty much anything electronic...but this makes it official... Kohen is more like his daddy that we thought. Oh no! Ha ha! Just kidding Jeff...kinda!Look at him though...What a cutie! Jeff is one proud papa!
(those of you who don't know...that is an xbox live headset. Watch out! Kohen is now a gamer!)

@ the Park w/ G-ma P!

Kohen loved swinging! G-ma was giving him underdogs and he was cracking up! Both my
kids love being outside. We are going to have to take advantage while it is still warm! It will be
cold before we know it.
We fed the ducks and then took a walk...the ducks liked our bread so much that they followed us. It was pretty funny...but Adi thought it was really funny!

Kohen looks so sweet in this picture. He was just so dang happy... we were outside and he was walking all by himself. He saw some other boys running and skateboarding and I swear he wanted to join in. He is such a boy! I love it!
We walked down to the bridge in the park and Kohen was obsessed with it. He just wanted to walk over and back again and again. I guess, it was funner than just walking on flat ground. Man did he think he was hot stuff! Show off!
We had so much fun hanging out with Grandma Pauline while we were in California and then when she came back here to Utah. My kids are so lucky to have such awesome grandparents. I am blessed as well to have all that I have. I love all of my family...halla'!!!!
