California was F-U-N!

We're back!!! So lets start with the best part...I freakin rocked it on the wake board. I didn't get up the first time but after that I got the hang of it. I even went out of the wake and even got some air. I loved it! I had so much fun!

Adi and Kohen had fun at the lake too. Well...that is until we got a couple waves come over the bow of the boat and she FREAKED OUT! She did like the house boat a lot. Kohen loved everything about the lake...being outside, riding in the boat, and even loved being in the water. I think he thought it was his big bath tub. He got in with a life jacket and was splashing the whole time. I had so much fun going to lake and boating. Thanks Justin and Ivie and Jarett too for sharing your boat and wake boarding expertise. Thanks to the Murdochs too! I have so many memories of the house boat and I am glad that my kids have that too.

Adi loved playing with her cousins. It was kinda hard at times with there being three girls wanting to play together all at the same time but they had SO MUCH FUN! We had to cut our trip a little short so when we had to leave Adi was really sad to say good-bye. Caroline had school so Adi and Haidyn played a lot and got really crazy sometimes running around but they had such a blast. I love that they love each other so much.
Here is all five grand kids...for now! We will be adding another in April when Jannae and Brady welcome their bun in the oven...also know as Stanley (they don't know if it is a boy or a girl but that is what they call it! Funny, huh!)
Here are Kohen and Taylor. They are ,I think, like 2 months apart and they don't really play with each other quite yet. They kind of just co-exist.
Adi and Haidyn were playing constantly but I think this picture is funny because normally Haidyn was the one tackling Adi. They play so funny!
Kohen was pretty clingy while he was there.Freakin mamma's boy! He wasn't sure about where he was. Not to mention that Daddy wasn't around either. Well, this is what he did when anyone but me picked him up. "hmmm, your not mommy! Do I know you?"

Kohen was surrounded by girls until the boys got home from work...I think that was half his problem...He was all alone with a bunch of crazy women! Ahhh!...Over all, our trip was awesome!I had fun seeing my family. I got too see my Mom and Dad=), Jannae but not Brady because he was out of town =( and Haylie and Ivie and my brothers...I really miss my brothers. They are hard working boys so I don't get to see them very often. Jarett even gave me a crazy ride on the Harley...woohoo rock on, dude! Oakdale was my home town where I grew up until I was 16 when I moved to Utah. It was crazy how many people I ran into in the grocery store. It was weird but awesome to see everyone. I had a very good trip!

We did get some sad news! The first Sunday morning we were there we found out that my Grandpa Petersen (my moms dad) died. It is sad but we are happy to know that he is in a better place. We love you Grandpa! In Adi's words...Peace out, be safe!
