Here are 5 things you may not know about Adilyn...
She has a very funny and large imagination. She makes phone calls to Mr. Walmart to ask for a new baby. She role plays with herself playing Dora and makes Kohen be Boots. She also is Ruby a lot and is always calling Kohen Max..."No Max!" She seems to say that a lot to him. She pretends to take her pills every night...just like her mama. Right now as I type this she says she is 'painting' everything she can find. She has got my little dust pan broom and is using that as her brush. It is something new with her everyday. I love it!
Just lately she has started getting really overly shy when there are new people around. Sometimes she will even go as far as to look away from everything and everyone and just act like she doesn't hear us. Even when we are talking directly to her. Sometimes when she is just plain embarrassed for something she did in front of me and Jeff she just tells us not to look at her. There usually some attitude there but we don't say anything. I think she is still figuring out this whole being embarrassed thing.
She loves singing and dancing. She loves playing rock band with us and has asked to play the guitar but we've told her she needs to get a little older before she can learn how. She sings really well though. It is funny when she hears Weezer, or Paramore on the radio and says that it is her song....then she sings and dances along like it really is one of her old jams! So funny! The dancing is my favorite of course because I would like to think that she got her moves from me. She has bounced, bobbed and wiggled to the beat since she was like 9 months old. She is getting more and more crazy with her dancing but I love watching her figure out whether she should shake her hips, jump up and down, tap her toes, or something other kind of dance she comes up with. She is always working on her moves and getting better at what she already knows.
She must always have ranch dipping sauce with her fries and chicken tenders, and if she doesn't have those she will even dip her fingers in and just lick it off. Ever since the first time I showed her how to dip she loves it...caution...she is a double dipper! Jeff is freak about fry sauce...maybe it's genetic.
At night when it is bed time Adi has a routine that consists of bath time, brushing teeth, going potty, saying prayers, hugs and kisses, 2-3 books, and then Daddy tells her one story. If you ask Adi what she wants her story to be about she says a story about herself, Kohen, and MILK!
I don't know why but she likes stories about milk. Maybe because most of the times we go to the store we have to buy milk. I have asked her a lot of times not to let me forget. That might have something to do with it...other than that I have no idea!
She has some funny things that just make me and Jeff laugh everyday but she also is the sweetest most loving kid I know. She always notices the little things and is so complimentary. She seems to always say,"Wow mommy you look hot!" or " The house getting so clean and sparkly!" just at the right time and she makes me smile when I'm not having the best of days. She's even nice to kids who are mean to her. She doesn't like it at the moment but a minute later she will be saying they're her best friends, and how much she loves them. She just tells me that they haven't been taught to share yet, and that she will teach them next time. It is funny but sometimes I think she is more of an example to me than I am to her.
She is the most large imaginationed, shy yet spunky, singing, dancing, rock star, ranch dipping, MILK loving, complimentary, tender hearted girl and we love her guts!!!

Juline, that was the CUTEST! I could totally hear Adi saying all those crazy things. And the Milk? Hilarious!! That photo is one you need to blow up and give to Cowboy Papa and Grandma Beth! So Beautiful!!
Well, that was 7 things, not 5, but fun to read. Sorry that Hailee is probably the kid that is mean to her that Adi still calls her best friend. Trust me, she's been taught to share, she just hasn't picked it up yet. :)
Adilyn I love you! I wish I knew you better and got to spend more time with you.--Love Aunt Lisa
